The goal of childbirth preparation is to provide support throughout pregnancy, prepare for childbirth, and help you adjust to life with your newborn.
We aim to encourage expectant parents to actively shape this journey into parenthood and take
on responsibility. Through interaction within the class group, expectant mothers and their partners have the opportunity to share their joys, hopes, fears, and concerns with other participants.
Let our midwives advise you on choosing the right class. The classes include, among other things, prenatal exercise,
breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques.

The childbirth preparation course for women is covered by health insurance (please inquire with private insurers).
For couples’ classes, please inquire about the cost (when scheduling, please keep in mind that the partner should always be able to attend).

Location: Delivery Room Prenatal Care Prenatal care provided by our midwives is available “Milchstraße” Breastfeeding Clinic Every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Location: Erzgebirgsklinikum, Ward 13 Postnatal Care Available at your home by our midwives if needed.
