When children become siblings, it creates a whole new situation within the family. To help the soon-to-be siblings cope with the upcoming changes, we regularly offer sibling classes. Experienced pediatric nurses
answer all questions and use playful activities to show children, for example, how to hold a baby properly, how to change a diaper, and how to soothe a baby. They explain what a baby eats, why it cries, and much more.
The 45-minute class, which we offer once a month on a Thursday from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., is suitable for
all children between the ages of 4 and 8. Afterward, the children receive a T-shirt and a certificate of participation, which certifies them as a “big sister” or
“big brother.” Registration through the maternity ward (tel. 0391/7262-256) is required.
