Learning to breastfeed is a process that takes a lot of time and patience and often doesn’t work right away. Every beginning is difficult… or can
at least be a little bumpy. Close physical contact and bonding between mother and baby are essential. Even during your stay
in our maternity ward, we’ll advise and support you in finding the right breastfeeding position for you, as well as with breast care.
Even after you’re discharged from our clinic, you’ll receive breastfeeding support at any time if you’re feeling unsure or experiencing breastfeeding difficulties.
This support can come from your midwife, who will visit you at home, or—if you do not have midwifery care after delivery—from our lactation consultants. They will be there to offer you advice and support during the crucial first weeks of your newborn’s life.
Our lactation consultants offer personal, one-on-one consultations Monday through Friday by appointment.
