In this course, expectant parents learn to feel confident and at ease when caring for their newborn. This is important so that they can experience a sense of calm and security with their baby from the very beginning. A strong parent-child bond ensures the best possible start in life. The course also focuses on moving the baby in ways that optimize this crucial early developmental phase, thereby promoting and supporting the baby’s physical and mental development.

The number of participants is limited to a maximum of six couples to ensure there is time for hands-on practice with dolls, including changing diapers, dressing and undressing, picking up and putting down, and personal care.

Simone Behr helps expectant parents understand and interpret their baby’s signals and needs. Using a checklist, she discusses with the expectant parents what the baby needs in the beginning, what clothing is suitable for the child, and how the ideal sleeping environment should be set up.
